Laura and Rob are two English guys, who live in beautiful and chaotic London, but always spend their vacations in Laura’s parents’ country house in Umbria on the border with Tuscany.
It was here that they decided to get married, in one of the most beautiful locations between Tuscany and Ubbia, Borgo bastia Creti: a beautiful villa surrounded by olive trees.
At their wedding there were many guests from all over the world.
The organization of the event was entrusted to Fatima of Ubria weddings, who created a bucolic and relaxing atmosphere with live music and Italian-style aperitivo on a beautiful lawn, in the shade of cypress trees.
Laura chose a very simple but purposeful look, a very special beautiful wedding dress: a white silk dungaree by The own Studio, a fantastic designer from London.
The bouquet of white roses and olive leaves made everything even more special and told a lot about the bride’s personality.
The ceremony took place with a background of violin music, and after taking a few family photos, the party began. First with an aperitif where guests could taste all the local Umbrian and Tuscan specialties, a wonderful banquet with open kitchen and spritzes galore.
The romantic dinner among olive trees and candles made even more emotional by the many speeches of friends and relatives who told in their own way the beautiful love story between Laura and Rob.
After dinner the fruit cake among a thousand lights and dancing until late in the evening.
THERE are so many enchanting places to get married inItaly, but surely for a foreigner Tuscany and Umbria are among the most striking, not only for the landscape but also for the food and wine.
It was an unforgettable wedding and the photos perfectly tell the atmosphere of celebration and friendship on that day. As a photographer I tried to capture all the beauty and emotions of every moment, to leave a beautiful memory of this wedding.
